We are seeking a skilled IT Support Engineer to join our team and provide exceptional support for employees' IT AV and communication needs. In this role, you will be responsible for troubleshooting technical issues, overseeing machine provisioning, and supporting onboarding processes. Additionally, you will contribute to the development, documentation, and enhancement of best practices and tools to improve internal troubleshooting processes, driving team performance and progress.
The ideal candidate will have a strong understanding of G Suite and Okta, along with a passion for enhancing team productivity when addressing technical challenges. This position involves close collaboration with cross-functional teams to proactively identify and resolve technical issues.
Technical Skills Required:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT operations or management with a proven track record of success.
- Experience in managing IT systems and processes.
- Proficiency in G Suite and Okta support.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
Technical Skills Nice to Have:
- Familiarity with Jira and Slack.
- Basic networking knowledge.
Responsibilities:
- Design and lead IT projects aimed at integrating systems and processes within the organization.
- Provide user support to resolve issues with IT systems and third-party applications.
- Assist with machine provisioning, onboarding, and other essential processes.
- Conduct hands-on troubleshooting for hardware, software, applications, networking, and related technical challenges.
- Develop and document best practices, tools, and tips to enhance internal troubleshooting processes.
- Ensure timely resolution of issues and serve as an escalation point for team members and users.
- Create and improve processes for testing, documenting, and optimizing security automation and issue response.
- Collaborate with teams across the organization to address technical concerns and enhance system reliability.
Requirements:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- 3–5 years of experience in IT operations or management with a measurable impact.
